A little TLC goes a long way. Whether it’s clocking in a full 7 hours of restful sleep every night or breaking into dance when you feel like it, these small changes have the power to transform your mind and body for the better.

So what exactly is self-care? It is the actions you take to improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being. It’s about allowing yourself to relax, de-stress and be healthy, and being the best version of yourself. Today, we’re showing seven simple ways in which you can take care of yourself.

Self-Care Strategies 101 Physique 57 India

Start A Gratitude Journal

Focus on the positives that life throws your way instead of dwelling on the negatives. A gratitude journal is quite like your daily diary with a slight change. Instead of writing down every single detail of your day, focus on the things that made you feel happy, proud and loved.

Practice Mindful Eating

Mindful eating is a form of meditation that helps you gain control over your eating habits. It is known to promote weight loss, reduce binge eating, and help you feel better. It involves:

– Eating slowly and without distraction

– Listening to physical hunger cues and eating only till you’re full

– Distinguishing between true hunger and non-hunger triggers for eating

– Engaging your senses by noticing colors, smells, sounds, textures, and flavors

– Learning to cope with guilt and anxiety about food

– Eating to maintain overall health and well-being

– Noticing the effects food has on your feelings and body

– Appreciating your food

Workout With Friends

Or better yet, join a fitness community so that there’s only motivation to do better, every day. Physique 57 is known for group workouts at the barre that also build friendships.

Take A Day To Rest

Set aside one day in a week to just do nothing. Take a break from work, workouts and stress. Relax, unwind and enjoy the day. Reset yourself for the week ahead.

Make A Playlist Of Your Fave Songs

Now this is something we know you’ll enjoy. Create a playlist for next workout, for the drive to the office or for just a day of doing nothing.

Have A Solo Dance Party

Once that playlist is done, get out your dancing shoes and bust a move! The crazier the dance moves the more fun, nobody’s watching right? So might as well let loose!

Manifest Your Best

Manifesting is about turning your dreams into reality. So think all of your dreams, yes, this includes loving yourself too! And soon enough, it’ll come true.

I certify that I am in adequate health to participate in any activities at the Studio(s) of AMP Fitness LLP and do not have any illness, disease, or health condition that could put anyone at risk. Should this information change, it is my sole responsibility to promptly notify the instructors at the Studio(s) of AMP Fitness LLP.

Any personal property brought to classes is at your sole risk regarding theft, damage, or loss. You agree that Physique 57 is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you attend classes or are at a Physique 57 location.

All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected] 12 hours before the class booking. Cancellations outside of this timeframe will be deducted from your class package. Clients unable to join a Full or Express Studio class 10 minutes past the start time will have the class deducted from their package.

Payments can be made online via our app with a valid credit or debit card. All classes must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable. Clients can pre-register for classes up to one hour prior to the scheduled class time to reserve their space. If the class is full, you will be placed on a waitlist; additions from the waitlist are on a first-come, first-served basis. Instructor requests and preferred date and class timings are subject to availability.
