Homemade Paleo Bread

If you are looking to lose weight, Paleo Bread is will be your best friend! A dieters dream, t is unlike any other bread you’ve ever eaten. It is free from gluten, grains, yeast, dairy and soy, low calorie, packed with protein and fiber, and best of all low in carbohydrates.

A recipe created by Shaana Levy-Bahl, a self-cured foodie and filmmaker, she shares, “I used to try and buy ready made gluten-free bread, but just because the label says it is gluten-free, doesn’t mean it is healthy as often times they add a lot of textures, stabilizers or preservatives (always read your ingredient list).”

Levy-Bahl adds, “When i started making my own paleo bread, this was the tastiest and easiest one to make with only 7 nutrient dense ingredients. The nutrients are high in protein, o it is filling as well as being healthy!” It’s the tiny movements like learning satiate our guilty pleasure of carbs with a healthy alternative that gets us the big results.

 

Ingredients:

Makes one loaf

2 cup almond flour

2 tbsp coconut flour

1/4 cup ground flax seed

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

5 eggs

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

 

Instructions:

In a food processor, pulse together the almond flour, coconut flour, flax, salt and baking soda.

Add the eggs and vinegar. Combine well.

Transfer batter into a greased loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 30 minutes.

Cool and serve.
