Celebrities are always in the spotlight, whether they are on or off the red carpet. That’s why they always have to look their best and fittest. And they do have some of the fittest figures we’ve seen. Celebrities are constantly being photographed by the paparazzi – even if they are just walking their dog – and obviously are always looking for ways to stay in shape. Most celebrities have a team of professionals like personal trainers and dieticians, while a few choose to stay fit with yoga, running and our favourite form of workout – barre!

From Natalie Portman to Hina Khan, celebrities just can’t get enough of barre! And, why not? Barre workouts are just that effective and also extremely fun. If you ever needed some inspo to start a class, take a cue from these leading ladies.

Natalie Portman

While ballet-inspired workouts like barre have been favourites for celebrities for years, Portman’s Black Swan helped it gain immense popularity. To attain the well-toned arms and legs of a ballerina and the poise that comes along with it, Portman used barre as her primary workout and continues to practise many techniques till today.

Marilyn Monroe

The ballet barre’s been sculpting celebrity bodies since decades. Monroe’s perfect 10 figure is in part credited to a strict barre workout. So if you want to channel your inner Marilyn Monroe, you need to get yourself to the barre!

Hina Khan

The pandemic has forced all of us to find new ways to stay fit, whether it’s building a home gym, walking up and down the stairs or if you’re like Hina Khan, barre-ing it all at home! Her recent video of her barre workout made waves all over social media and has everyone talking about this easy and fun workout technique.

Madonna

It’s no secret that Madonna has probably tried every workout routine there is, but barre is by far her best yet. She swears by it. So if you ever wondered how is it that she manages to stay so fit and energetic at 62, it’s a barre workout.
